When it comes to performing that annual phenomenon – pantomime - Downfield Musical Society can claim to be an expert in this field of festive entertainment. This year sees the return of the family favourite, Jack and the Beanstalk

The Downfield Company always ensure that their panto contains all the necessary ingredients for a successful, laughter-filled, family show – the handsome “leggy” Principal Boy, the traditional male panto “Dame”, a fairy to cheer and an evil Baddie to boo. Add magical transformation scenes; messy slapstick custard pie routines; up-to-the-minute songs; corny jokes; amazing special effects; spectacular costumes; mixed together with an abundance of audience participation; and you have the magical recipe that is Jack and the Beanstalk!

As in past years, DMS can be assured of packed audiences full of bright-eyed kids  who have brought along their mums and dads, their  grans and granddads, and their friends to join in the fun! So, whether you are nine or ninety, Jack and the Beanstalk is the show for all the young at heart! Oh yes, it is!

An Evening of Mediumship with TV Psychic Tony Stockwell

Tuesday 21st April, 2015 - 7.30 pm

It’s NOT creepy or kooky, mysterious or spooky. It’s Psychic Medium Tony Stockwell demonstrating his belief that those who have passed can communicate with their loved ones.

At its best, Mediumship has the potential to change someone’s life and to instil in them a sense of peace, comfort and purpose. Psychic Medium Tony Stockwell is not a new kid on the block and during his 20 years working as a medium he has constantly worked to improve his game and push the boundaries of his communication. In that time he has had umpteen television programmes, taught at some of the most respected schools for mediumistic development as well as setting up his own training school for developing mediums.

Tony Stockwell: Sensitive and inspirational, his messages are amazingly detailed and always humorous.

Tony Stockwell is a Spiritualist Medium and spirit communication is part of his own religious belief, but we accept differing opinions exist regarding mediumship. Any demonstration of mediumship is an experiment and results are not guaranteed.
